What Working With Me Feels Like
Support should make your business feel lighter, not more complicated. Here’s what you can expect when we work together.
A calm, capable pair of hands
My working style is organised, approachable and practical. I enjoy bringing order to scattered information, creating documents people can actually use, keeping actions visible and making communication feel more consistent. I pay attention to detail, but I also keep sight of the reason behind a task. A perfectly formatted tracker is only useful if it helps someone understand what happens next.
Clients can expect clear questions at the beginning, sensible updates while work is under way and honest communication if something needs a decision. I am comfortable working independently once the brief and boundaries are clear. Equally, I know when a question is better raised than guessed at, particularly where confidential information, customer relationships or financial records are involved.
Professional experience that supports your business
My professional strengths span office administration, document creation, spreadsheets, customer and supplier communication, diary support, reporting, systems organisation and project coordination. This broad experience allows me to understand how individual tasks connect. An inbox affects a diary; a customer query may depend on a supplier update; accurate data supports useful reporting; and a clear process makes every future task easier.
Rather than presenting a traditional CV full of job titles without context, I focus on the qualities and outcomes that matter when you appoint a Virtual Assistant: reliability, sound judgement, confidentiality, clear written and verbal communication, careful record keeping and the ability to learn how your business operates. I can step into an established process, help make an informal process more consistent or provide structured support for a defined project.
Software and systems
I am comfortable with the familiar tools used by modern small businesses, including Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Zoom, Trello and Canva. I can also support administrative work in Xero, QuickBooks and Sage, as well as content, product and order-related tasks in WordPress and WooCommerce.
Software is most useful when it supports a clear way of working. I do not introduce a new app simply because it exists; where possible, I use the systems you already have and make them easier to maintain. If your business uses another platform, please ask. I am used to learning new interfaces and following established procedures when suitable access and guidance are available.
01 Clear From The Start
We begin by looking at what is taking time, what keeps being postponed and what would make the biggest difference if it were handled consistently.

What working together feels like
I want delegating to feel straightforward. We begin by discussing what is taking time, what keeps being postponed and what a good result would look like. I then confirm the proposed work and provide a tailored quote. You do not need to arrive with a perfect brief: an honest description of what feels repetitive, delayed or disorganised is enough to start a useful conversation.
Because I work remotely, support is flexible and does not require office space or a long-term employment commitment. Being based in Devon gives It’s Me Grace a grounded, personal base, while online systems allow me to work effectively with businesses throughout the UK. Wherever you are, the principles are the same: dependable work, respectful communication and useful progress.
